Show Notes

Memetics is the study of evolution of culture and ideas, in all their expressions.

Science, technology, philosophy, all evolve, and our tools for creating, evaluating, agreeing on and implementing ideas with them.

We have huge challenges ahead of us, and the best tools are science and reason to face, solve, and overcome them.

It is at the same time important to recognize that art, poetry, emotions are also part of culture, and they evolve memetically as well.

Emotions and reason are not in contrast.

Art and science are not in opposition.

Our ability to experience beauty, to feel in awe for the grandiosity of the universe, are necessary components of the inspiration that drives us to keep learning and that unites us in the quest to fulfilling the potential of humankind.
